Fireman Corey came for a visit today. We learned so much! Here's some highlights from the children:
Ava W: It was interesting when Corey the Firefighter got in our face and blew his oxygen into our face. It was silly!
Charlie: I learned that the fireman’s coat and helmet doesn’t hurt. They help keep firemen safe.
Kasey: The air was stinky when he blew it in our face. The clothes are heavy. The clothes protect them from a fire.
Laura: Firefighters have masks to breath in the fire. They breathe air through the mask. They sound funny when they talk.

Arjit: We learned how to spray hoses and we got to do it. A fireman was holding the hose and we were spraying water.
Caterina: It was interesting that the fire truck had axes. They keep the firefighters oxygen in the seats of the truck!
Grace: I liked going in the ambulance because I learned that they use a tool to check your heart and oxygen. It didn’t hurt.
I.J.: I thought the ambulances were cool. The inside had lots of bandages and liquid and stuff. People go in an ambulance when they’re hurt.
